EagleGet is a download manager that can be used to download videos, program files, images and more from any website. This download manager connects directly with most browsers or can be used manually by copying and pasting the URL into the program. It also accelerates most downloads so that they finish faster than usual.

Faster Downloads

One of EagleGet's best features is how it accelerates downloads. The company claims that they can make most downloads six times faster. While this may not be possible with all downloads, you should notice that most are faster than conventional downloading. This is done by splitting the video into smaller segments and quickly downloading those segments.

This is a common way of speeding up downloads and it's known to be quite effective. Despite being split during the download process, the file will be complete without any issues once the download is finished. Sometimes EagleGet gets stuck at 99.9 percent because there might be a glitch compiling the file, but this is a rare problem and can usually be solved by trying the download again.

Browser or Desktop

You can connect this with most browsers or use it as a standalone desktop program. If you have a conventional browser, then you should have no problem connecting it with EagleGet. This will then handle all of your downloads and all files will have boosted download speeds.

You can also choose to keep this as a desktop program that you can manually use. Simply open the program and copy the download link into the program. It will then initiate the download process and will place your file in your chosen destination.

Both of these work equally well and you'll get the same benefits of boosted download speeds, malware checking and the ability to launch program files as soon as they are fully downloaded.

Silent Mode

EagleGet uses notifications when downloads are finished or as program files are being installed. Usually these notifications are a good thing because you'll know when the download is finished and you'll get information about the files. At the same time, this can be a problem when you're playing a game, recording your screen or in a live conference with other people.

There is a Silent Mode that will prevent these notification from popping up. The downloads will go as usual. You just won't see any notifications on your screen when they're finished. Simply choose this mode before downloading and the program will prevent all notifications from showing on your screen.

Expired Download Links

Sometimes a download link is expired and is no longer pointing to a file. This can be annoying and usually it would prevent you from downloading the file. While there is no guarantee that it will work, EagleGet can attempt to correct the expired download link by finding the new one. This can help you find a certain file without looking for it yourself.

Simply approve of EagleGet searching for the file and it will do its best to locate the correct download link.
